Getting Over It
I’m sure you’ve heard the phrase, “cry me a river.” And you’ve probably also heard the phrase, “cry me a river then build me a bridge and get over it.” I’ve heard those phrases a lot in my life, mostly from my parents. They are both extremely sarcastic and didn’t like anyone pouting. Well, I’ve taken that advice to heart. No matter what happens, I know that I need to mourn the loss and then get over it; it’s healthier that way. So no matter what happens, from my wife leaving me to the crane parts on my truck being the wrong size, I know to cry about it and then move on.
