Managers Getting Ready: Access Certification
With the inception of security compliance managers are being held accountable for certifying roles, security threats and entitlements. Managers who are preparing to introduce an Access Certification process into their group need to consider business procedures and processes. Part of the access certification implementation includes defining roles of the employees and in addition work roles. In order for these employees to perform these jobs, managers also need to define accurate access for these roles. After defining and assigning the roles, mangers should know if their organization is required to comply with regulatory standards. Managers should also calculate how many users and how many user IDs will be required per user.
