Sometime ago, back in the days of John F.Kenndey, he imposed a ban on all Cuba products. Due to many reasons, such as the Cuban missle crisis, John thought that a total closure on all Cuban contact will be beneficial for all. At that time it seemed like the right thing to do, but what also suffered in this ban was that it applied to Cohiba cuban cigars too. Of course you don’t hear about how John sent his secretaty to retrieve hundreds of boxes of H.Upmanns right after he started the ban but I guess that is a whole another story.
