A Waiter’s Perspective on Electronic Cigarettes
Being a waitress, especially in a recession, can be a tough and low paying job. I always noticed that my smoking section tipped me more, maybe it was because they were more likely to have a few drinks, I don’t know. But anyways I did notice that tips have gone down since my restaurant was forced to enact a no smoking policy. Well just the other night I was waiting on a table, and at first I thought the lady was smoking. But when I got closer I could tell it wasn’t really a cigarette. She said it was an Njoy electronic cigarette. I really think this is a great idea because I don’t have to worry about second hand smoke, and I can hopefully start waiting on happy, smoking, tippers again.
