Dental Patient Talks Directly, Mailman Walks Daily
I have stereotyped front desk personnel as those who sit behind a desk cradling a phone between their chin and shoulders, talking all day long about the weather.
Now, I say let them talk. Talk all they want. All through the night. I’ll even pay them extra. Just as long as they’re talking to dental patients and maintaining the good professional relationship I have with them. Maybe put in a good word or two for me while they’re at it.
After the chit chat comes the follow up: direct mailing of promotional materials that would spark the customers’ interest and also keep them informed that my practice is still very much alive and keeping up with the latest trends in dentistry. So next time they need a dentist, they’ll surely contact my secretary, err… me.
