Some gout treatments
Gout hurts a lot. My Dad has been a sufferer for a few years now. I have read that gout is a form of arthritis and that it is caused by a build up of uric acid in the system. My Dad has gout attacks in his feet and ankles but it is very common in the big toe. Gout treatments include anti inflammatory medications and a change in diet. There are other medications but initially they tried this treatment for my Dad and it does help. Certain foods can contribute to uric acid build up as well as alcohol consumption.
