Chicken As A Staple
My ex-wife feeds the kids junk and fast food on a regular basis. Whenever I have the kids I try to feed them the best home cooked meals I possibly can. Since farmers were required to stop using hormones and antibiotics in chickens, they have become a staple in our diet. I even use ground chicken in my spaghetti instead of ground beef. Believe me, people cannot tell the difference. During the winter my apartment gets very cold and for some reason the bedrooms don’t get warm. I like to use my oven more in the winter because it helps to heat the house as well. I cook chicken quite often as I said and my children have a favorite baked chicken recipe that they always ask for. I like to get my kids involved in cooking as well. They look forward to helping and they enjoy the food more so because they had a part in it.
