Defining the Term Entertainment
The term “entertainment” as it is explained in the MSN Encarta dictionary is the “various ways of amusing people, especially by performing for them.” Nevertheless, not all acts that give you with amusement can be referred to as a form of entertainment. Activities such as playing your favorite sports and adventures and literature reading are often included in entertainment but these activities are more appropriate to be named as recreation.
There are several ways to be entertained and amused. Such forms are the following: movies, themeparks , comedy, dance, games and music, etc. Other famous and common forms and acts of entertainment are the following broadway theatre, leisure, radio, television and magic.
