Helping Your Teething Baby
There is nothing worse than seeing your baby suffer while she’s getting teeth. Thankfully there are quite a few simple things you can do to ease her pain and discomfort.
Keep a teething ring or a wet washcloth in the fridge and give it to your baby to chew on. The coolness will keep the swelling on the gums down and help with the pain as well. When things get really bad, you can also get something like baby orajel which has a small local painkiller in it.
Something hard to chew on like a teething biscuit is also great since it will help push the new tooth through the gumline. And the sooner that tooth comes through the quicker your baby’s gums can start to heal. Plus they are much better than some of the other stuff your baby will find to chew on otherwise.
