Modern Lighting Makes Great Piano Players
I have two young daughters, ages eight and ten. They’ve both been playing the piano for several years. My oldest started at seven and my youngest at six. It’s a huge investment of time, but they both really enjoy it. We have an older home and it’s always safer to have a piano against an interior wall. This keeps the temperatures consistent and your piano in top shape. That wall in our home isn’t exactly the best location. Modern lamps placed on each side of the piano make it so my girls can see their books and get the maximum effect out of each practice. It can be hard work, but they love it. It gives them a sense of accomplishment and will be a talent that I know will serve them for their entire lives.
