Rugby Cheats Give Sports a Bad Name
It seems unbelieveable that in one of Britain’s fairly popular sports, rugby, the level of cheating I’ve been reading about has sunk so low. In an important rugby match a player had to leave the field because his mouth was bleeding profusely. As he left the field he was replaced by another player. Now the player who came on as substitute was very good at kicking. At the stage the game was at, he was an ideal replacement for the injured player. But, it transpires that the ‘injured’ player had one of these ‘blood capsules’ in his mouth, and had bitten on it to make it look as though his mouth was bleeding. That player, the club’s coach, and the physio were in it together, and were cheats. All have since been banned from rugby for various lengths of time, and deservedly so.
