Sanitising the hydroponic aerogarden at the end of each seed kit cycle
Sanitising the Hydroponics aerogarden is very important between Seed Kits. Not only does this flush out dead plant material, but sanitising also washes out nutrient residue from the pump and grow Surface channels and kills any existing pathogens. If you follow this procedure at the end of every seed kit that is grown, even if (especially if!) the plan is to store your AeroGarden for a while prior to planting the next Seed Kit. It is vitally important to flush the nutrient solution from the AeroGarden before storing it away for any time period to prevent the solution from drying into crystallised mineral deposits within the Pump and water channels.
