travel trailers

If you love to go camping and you want to get a travel trailer, you’ll be happy to know you have an enormous amount of choices at your disposal.  Usually, the two biggest limiting factors are the towing capacity of your vehicle and, of course, your budget.  Let’s talk about towing capacity first.  Unlike fifth wheels, when you get a travel trailer, you don’t need to buy a full size pickup truck and get a special trailer hitch installed in the back of your truck bed.  The standard hitch in the back of your vehicle will do just fine (although anti-sway bars are a must on any of the large travel trailers, and you may want to get them even for a smaller one.)  Then there’s the budget concerns.  You can get used travel trailers for less than $10,000, and if luxury is your primary consideration, you can easily spend $50,000-$70,000 on travel trailers.
