Many people are thinking about converting their car to electric power in view of the huge savings in fuel costs. Fine! But this won’t suit everyone. One major consideration is the number of miles you travel a day. If all you do is run around town then probably this won’t be an issue as you can get around 120 miles out of one charge. If you want to go on a long trip, there could be a problem. Of course, if you run your air conditioner or heater, that’s going to have an impact on how many miles you can run, just as it does with a car running on gas. This is just one of the considerations you have to weigh up in your mind if you are electric car conversions in your family. If you have more than one automobile, why not consider converting one and just keep it for short trips. You could end up saving hundreds of dollars a month on your gasoline bill.
