The Curse surrounding the Lisheen Castle Haunted Ruins
Due to some circumstances, there was a curse put on the Lisheen Castle Haunted Ruins. Around the mid 1800’s, after a lot of the Lloyd family left the castle due to famine Charles Lloyd took over as the local landlord between 1856 and 1887 as he lived in the castle. He came into conflict with the Land League when it was found out that he was extorting money from his tenants to make him be able to evict them. He later evicted one of the most prominent Land Leaguers named Michael Everard. Some of the tenants died due to this treatment by the landlord and these people that died are rumored to be the curse on the castle due to their supposed haunting.
