Adjusting the Eyepiece of the Night Vision Goggles

To adjust the eyepiece of Night Vision Goggles, each eyepiece must be adjusted separately. In order to do this, your left eye must be closed then make a necessary adjustments to the right eyepiece. Then to get a full contrast image, open your left eye and adjust the left eyepiece. Objective focusing first is required by some Night Vision Goggles, then adjust the eyepieces.

Always remember that all Night Vision Goggles have the smallest focusing distance, smallest distance at which objects can appear in full focus. The Night Vision Goggles are possible to use in complete darkness because of the infrared illuminator and most goggles have a magnification power of one, with built-in Infrared illuminator, and a viewing range of a few hundred feet.
