Mental bowling can make you better

I am a pretty good bowler, and most people ask me what is the best tip I can give them to bowl better.  My answer is always the same – focus on mental bowling.  Bowling is probably half physical, and half mental.  Maybe even 60-40 mental.  If your head is not in the game, do not count on getting a high score.  Take time on each shot to make sure you are giving yourself the best chance for points.  And don’t always focus on strikes.  Spares can be just as important, maybe even more.  Be sure not to leave yourself a tough split to pick up.
