Two Useful Vertical Jumping Exercises
Here you will find two vertical jumping exercises that are very effective at improving your vertical jump. These two are the burpee and the one-leg step up jump. In the burpee you should stand straight up with your feet shoulder-width apart. Squat down so your hands touch the ground and then kick your legs out like you are in push-up position. Then, pull your legs back in and jump straight up. In the one-leg step-up jump find a platform about two feet high and rest one foot on it and one foot off of it. Then, without squatting down or bending your legs jump straight up and land back in the same position. Once you have done this a few times switch legs and do the same thing with that leg.
