AT&T Introduces international data packages
AT&T’s has announced a pair of international data packages geared specifically toward the iPhone and iPhone 3G. The plans come too late to help me with my trip to England, but to be honest, they wouldn’t have helped anyway since they cost more than my entire monthly service anyway. iPhone Software
But if you want to do International traveling with data roaming enabled, the two new programs could help cut the costs substantially. I had been quoted $5/mb for roaming International data, so the plans rates of $119.99 for 100MB and $199.99 for 200mb could literally save thousands. But then who would keep their roaming data on even at the regular rates. If you’re like me you can’t AFFORD to save that kind of money.
The new plans are available starting tomorrow.
