Suunto have for many years been manufacturers of precision, barometric and navigation products. In the 1960s they developed a diving compass. Such was the success of the Suunto Spyder, a dive computer that fits on the wrist, combined with an electronic compass, in1987 Suunto’s next market conquest was the Suunto Vector. The Suunto Watches Vector wristop computer was designed for outdoor leisure use. It measures air pressure, and therefore altitude, and helps in predicting changes in the weather as well as it displays direction and time.
